When we started Nelson Building Company, our vision was to deliver high-quality custom homes and commercial builds in Geraldton that our clients will love for generations to come.

The Building Experience
Our aim is to make the building process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for you. We’ll arrange everything from local council permits, material selection to booking specialist suppliers, so you don’t have to.

At Nelson Building Company, we care about the environment and can help you be eco-friendly too via our large selection of sustainable features and building materials.
Sustainability is important not only for the environment but to help drive down energy costs and ensure the longevity of your build.
We promote sustainability through all aspects of our projects, from recycling waste materials on site, to helping our clients select sustainable features for their home that are the right fit for them.
One of our most popular materials we use in our builds is an external timber cladding, Weathertex, which is made from a reconstituted blend of Australian native and hardwoods from NSW pulp wood forestry operations. Weathertex is a highly dense board product, contains no chemical additives, and is fire resistant. A win-win, we think.
Nelson Building Company can also incorporate a number of sustainable features in your home or office to reduce running costs, and of course your carbon footprint, including energy-efficient appliances and tapware, solar panels, greywater recycling and more.
